The Sony WH-CH520 has been launched in India for less than Rs 5,000. The headphones will be sold in Sony retail outlets, including Sony Center and Sony Exclusive, www.ShopatSC.com, major electronic retailers, and e-commerce websites around the country.

The WH-CH520 is intended for extended playback. It has a battery life of up to 50 hours on a single charge and up to 40 hours of continuous playback. Sony claims that the new model can give 1.5 hours of music playback after only 3 minutes of charging. It has a USB Type-C charging port and charges completely in three hours. Sony claims that the headphone is also eco-friendly, with recycled plastic utilized in their construction and no plastic used in their packaging.

The Sony WH-CH520's audio features include a 30mm driver unit. The Headphones Connect app allows for personalized EQ. Users can select from a variety of presets based on their preferred musical genre. Furthermore, there is the Digital Sound Enhancement Engine (DSEE), which restores the original features and frequency elements to a compressed file in order for it to sound as intended.
The Headphones Connect app also includes 360 Reality Audio, which analyzes your individual ear shape to optimize the audio experience and give immersive audio output. When connected to Sony BRAVIA XR TVs, users additionally get a 360 Spatial Sound Personaliser via a standalone app, which provides an immersive experience custom customized for your ear shape. The Dolby ATMOS audio experience is also supported by BRAVIA TVs.
Other features include multipoint connectivity, which allows it to be connected to two Bluetooth devices at the same time. It means that if you're watching TV and your phone starts ringing, the headphones can effortlessly convert to phone audio so you can answer calls. Speaking of calls, the WH-CH520 boasts a built-in mic for crystal-clear audio on voice calls. The Bluetooth 5.2 communication standard is supported by headphones.
