Xiaomi's next Xiaomi 13 Ultra smartphone reportedly obtained Singapore's IMDA certification, indicating that its launch date is approaching. The upcoming smartphone's debut date has officially been confirmed by the business. The forthcoming 13 Ultra smartphone from Xiaomi will be the most pricey smartphone in 2023. Xiaomi has already launched the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro smartphones globally. In addition, the business just launched the 13 Pro smartphone in India. Previously, an alleged Weibo banner disclosed the smartphone's launch date. The corporation has also revealed the device's global availability.

Xiaomi 13 Ultra Launch Date and Known Specifications

Leica and Xiaomi have confirmed that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra smartphone would be launched in China in April 2023. But, the business has not revealed the smartphone's actual launch date. According to a purported Weibo banner, Xiaomi will debut the smartphone in China on April 17. Xiaomi also stated that the smartphone would be launched in global markets.

The smartphone will be available in the following months, according to the manufacturer. Previously, a tipster predicted that it would go global in May 2023. Another tip indicated that Xiaomi would not release the smartphone in India. Xiaomi's flagship smartphones have performed poorly in terms of sales in India. Apple and Samsung are popular among Indian consumers in the flagship category.

According to Leica, the forthcoming smartphone would include a Leica Summicron lens. According to the Leica release, the wide-angle and telephoto lenses will offer Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS). It also reveals that the lens on the 13 Ultra will feature a big aperture, a small size, and excellent imaging capability. The device is said to include a quad back camera system in terms of optics.

A 50MP Sony IMX 989 sensor with 1-inch sensor size and OIS would be used in the arrangement. A secondary 50MP ultra-wide-angle sensor and a tertiary 50MP telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom would be included. Finally, the arrangement would include a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 10x optical zoom capability. With the 13 Ultra, Xiaomi will include the same 32MP selfie camera inside the display punch-hole.

The Xiaomi 13 Ultra is expected to include a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a QHD+ resolution. The display would be compatible with LTPO technology, with refresh rates ranging from 1 to 120Hz. It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset manufactured on a 4nm technology. The processor would be paired with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The smartphone would have a 4900 mAh battery and the capability for 90W rapid charging.
