Moto has launched the Moto G73 5G smartphone in India. The specifications of the smartphone in India differ slightly from those of the previously launched device in Europe. The smartphone replaces the existing Moto G72 4G device. The G72 5G was due for an upgrade because it lacked 5G support. The new G73 includes a Dimensity 930 SoC, 8GB RAM, 256GB storage, Android 13, and other features. Let's take a closer look at the smartphone's pricing, availability, and specs.

Moto G73 5G: Pricing and Availability

Motorola has only launched one model with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The device's introductory price is Rs 16,999, and it will be available in India beginning March 16. The regular price of the smartphone is Rs 18,999, and it is available on Flipkart. Motorola.in and leading retail stores, including Reliance Digital, will also carry the device. The smartphone will be available in the colours Midnight Blue and Lucent White.

Motorola also provides an additional Rs. 2,000 on an exchange or an instant discount on purchases made with credit cards from HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, SBI, and AXIS Bank. Customers can also choose between no-cost EMIs of three and six months from HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, SBI, and AXIS Bank.

Moto G73 5G Specifications

The Moto G73 5G comes with a 6.5-inch Full HD+ LCD display. The display will have a 120Hz refresh rate and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The Moto G72 smartphone's AMOLED display has been downgraded to LCD by the company. Motorola has included a punch-hole in the centre of the display.

The G73 5G will be outfitted with the MediaTek Dimensity 930 chipset, which is built on a 6nm process. The smartphone will ship with My UX, which is based on Android 13. The smartphone's 128GB storage is a step down from the global variant's 256GB storage. Motorola, on the other hand, allows for storage expansion of up to 1TB via a micro-SD card slot.

On the optics front, it will have a dual-rear camera setup with an integrated LED flash on the module. The brand employs a 2m ultra-pixel camera with a flagship-grade sensor. The structure will include a 50MP primary sensor with an aperture of f/1.8 and PDAF. The sensor is accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with an f/2.2 aperture. The 16MP selfie camera is housed in the display's punch-hole.

The smartphone is powered by a 5000mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging. The smartphone connects via USB type C 2.0 and Bluetooth 5.3. Motorola has included support for 13 5G bands in the smartphone. The power button also functions as a fingerprint sensor and is compatible with face unlock. Motorola has released a device that is water-resistant.

The smartphone has an IP52 rating, which means it can withstand water splashes. The device measures 161.4 x 73.8 x 8.3 mm and weighs 181 grams. Other features of the smartphone include stereo speakers that support Dolby Atmos.
