The Google Pixel 6a has been launched in India. Notably, after nearly two years, the company has launched a new Pixel device in India. The Google Pixel 6a was announced at Google IO 2022, but it will be available for pre-order in select markets, including the United States, United Kingdom, and others, beginning today.

The Google Pixel 6a is the successor to last year's Pixel 5a, which was not launched in India. The Pixel 6a is the first device to be released in India following the Pixel 4a in 2020. The Tensor processor, developed by Google, is the new Google Pixel 6a's main selling point. Google Pixel 6a: Price in India

In India, the Google Pixel 6a has a single RAM and storage configuration, with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The Pixel 6a costs Rs 43,999 in India and is available in Charcoal (Black) and Chalk (White). Unfortunately, Google will not be bringing the Sage(Green) colour option to India for the time being. The phone will be available in India on July 28th, and pre-orders are now open on Flipkart.

Google Pixel 6a: Specifications and Features

The Google Pixel 6a features a 6.1-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The device has a standard 60Hz refresh rate on the screen. The Pixel 6a is powered by the same Tensor chip as the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. This is used in conjunction with the Titan M2 security co-processor. The Pixel 6a is equipped with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

A dual-camera setup is located on the back. The phone has a 12.2MP main camera with an aperture of /1.7 and a 12MP/2.2 ultrawide camera. There is also support for OIS and EIS. On the front, there is an 8MP selfie camera.

In addition, the Google Pixel 6a comes with a 4,410mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging out of the box. However, the charging adapter will not be included in the box.
