The Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition phone will be available in China on July 12th, which is less than a week away. The GT 2 Master Explorer Edition's design has already been revealed ahead of its official launch. The upcoming Realme GT series phone will have a unique flat-edged rear panel design.

The phone's RAM and storage options were leaked online a few days ago. The phone will be available in three variants, each with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Realme has now officially confirmed the battery capacity and charging specifications of the phone. A GaN charger will be included with the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition. Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition Charging and Battery Details Revealed

The Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition now has a confirmed 5,000mAh battery unit. In terms of fast charging, the phone will support 100W charging and will be Realme's first phone to include a GaN charger. GaN, which stands for Gallium Nitride, is said to reduce heat by up to 85%.

This technology is also 20 times faster than conventional silicon (Si) technology. A GaN charger can achieve 3x higher power requirements in a very compact size without generating excessive heat, implying that a compact power adapter will be included in the box. The device will charge to 100% in 25 minutes using the new GaN charger. Finally, the company confirmed that the phone will have a metal middle frame and weigh 195 grams.

According to previous leaks, the second-generation Master Explorer Edition will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor and will feature a 6.7-inch 10-bit AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz.

The device is expected to have a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP auxiliary sensor. It will most likely have a 16MP selfie camera. The device is said to come pre-installed with Realme UI 3.0, which is based on Android 12.
