On April 26, Poco Global will launch a new F-series device, the Poco F4 GT. The Poco F4 GT will be the company's gaming flagship for the year, and it will feature MagLev triggers like its predecessor, the Poco F3 GT. Poco Global has confirmed a week before the launch that the Poco F4 GT will be powered by Qualcomm's flagship – Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. Poco Global made the announcement via social media channels.

In addition, the brand has confirmed that the upcoming F-series device will feature dual vapour chamber liquid cooling. The Poco F4 GT with model number 21121210G was recently spotted on the Geekbench benchmark database, and the upcoming F-series device appears to be a rebranded Redmi K50G based on the model number. The Redmi K50G, which was announced in February, is also powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. Let's take a closer look at the specifications and features of the Redmi K50G.

As previously stated, the new Poco F-series device may be a rebranded Redmi phone. So, let's see what the Redmi K50G has to offer in terms of specs and features. The Redmi K50G has a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080, a refresh rate of 120Hz, and HDR10+ certification. The phone is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.

The Redmi K50G is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 octa-core processor and an Adreno 730G GPU. It has up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS3.1 storage. The phone comes pre-installed with MIUI 13, which is based on Android 12.

The Redmi K50G has three rear cameras, one of which is a 64MP Sony IMX686 sensor. An 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP telemacro lens are included. A 20MP Sony sensor is housed inside a centred punch-hole notch for selfies and video calls.

The Redmi K5G is powered by a 4700mAh battery and supports fast charging via 120W HyperCharge. According to this, the upcoming Poco F4 GT could be the first Poco device to support 120W fast charging.
