Motorola is working on its first rollable smartphone, codenamed Felix. The rollable smartphone is still in the works. According to Evan Blass and 91Mobiles, Felix will be different from previous rollable phones teased. Unlike the rollable displays from Oppo and LG, which expand sideways, the upcoming Motorola rollable will expand vertically. According to the report, "in Motorola's first attempt at rollable technology, the device expands vertically, with about a third of its display when compact, wrapped around a spindle at the bottom and facing backward."

He goes on to say that the prototype of the rollable phone was tested on Android 12. According to Blass, the phone is still in the early stages of development. The rollable phone is not expected to be released this year. Because it is still in development, the design or features of the rollable phone may change as we get closer to its release.

Meanwhile, in another leak, Blass published live images of the Moto Razr 3. The clamshell foldable phone is getting a major makeover. Motorola has removed the chin from the Razr 3, and moved the fingerprint scanner to the side. The hole-punch cutout foldable screen has a Full HD+ resolution. It is being tested in two variants, one of which is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ SoC is used in the other SKU. This device will be available in China by late July or early August, followed by global markets.
