Vivo has launched a new Y-series smartphone. The Vivo Y76s (t1 version) has been launched in China by the company. The device is a new variant of the Y76s, which was released late last year in China. The t1 version has the same design as the Y76s but different hardware. The phone has a curved back and frame. It also has a different processor under the hood.

Vivo Y76s (t1 Version) Price and Specifications 

The Vivo Y76s (t1 version) with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage has been launched in China. The cost is CNY 1899. (roughly Rs 21,800). The device is available in three colours: Star Diamond White, Galaxy White, and Starry Night Black.

In terms of specs, the phone has a 6.58-inch IPS LCD display. The resolution of the display is 2408 x 1080 pixels in Full HD+. The screen has a standard refresh rate of 60Hz and a touch sampling rate of 180Hz. The front camera is housed in a tiny waterdrop notch at the top.

Because the phone is LCD-based, the Y76s (t1 version) has a fingerprint scanner on the side. It also has AI face unlock support. A rectangular camera module is housed within the plastic back. It has a dual-camera system with a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor. The phone has an 8MP front-facing camera sensor for selfies.

The phone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. The Y76s from last year, on the other hand, have a Dimensity 810 SoC. So, in terms of performance, the t1 version is unquestionably inferior. The phone, on the other hand, receives more RAM under the hood. The t1 model has 12GB of RAM, up from 8GB in last year's model. It also comes with 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. A microSD card can be used to expand the storage even further.

The device ships with a 4100mAh battery and supports 44W fast charging. It weighs approximately 175 grams and has dimensions of 163.84 x 75.00 x 7.79 mm. Finally, the phone comes pre-installed with Android 12. On top of that is a layer of Funtouch OS 12.

Vivo has not confirmed any details about the t1's launch in India.
