Oppo launched the Oppo A56 smartphone in the Chinese market in 2021. In its home market, the brand has now launched its refreshed version, the Oppo A56s. The most recent A-series smartphone is a mid-range device powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor. The Oppo A56s has a refresh rate of 90Hz but only an HD+ resolution.

The Oppo A56s 8GB + 128GB configuration costs RMB 1099 (approx Rs 13,330). The smartphone also comes in an 8GB + 256GB variant that costs RMB 1299. (approx Rs 15,750). The Oppo A56s is now on the market in China. The brand has yet to reveal the Oppo A56s' global availability.

The new Oppo A56s features a 6.56-inch LCD display panel with HD+ (1612 720 pixels) resolution, 269ppi pixel density, and a refresh rate of 90Hz. The display panel has a peak brightness of 600nits, a colour gamut of 96% NTSC, and a waterdrop notch for the selfie camera.

The latest A-series smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor manufactured on a 6nm process. An integrated Mali G57 GPU handles the graphics duties on the handset. It has 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. ColorOS, which is based on Android 12, comes pre-installed on the smartphone.
