POCO India will launch a new smartphone, the POCO M5 4G, in the Indian market next month as part of the M-series. According to 91mobiles, citing an industry source, the upcoming POCO M-series smartphone will make its debut in the country in early September. The POCO M5 4G will be the first smartphone in the company's M5 series. According to the report, the upcoming POCO M5 4G will be powered by a gaming-focused MediaTek Helio G99 processor.
POCO posted a teaser on social media platforms earlier this month that read G99, implying that an Helio G99-powered device from the brand is on the way. Based on this, the upcoming M-series smartphone appears to be a successor to the POCO M4 Pro, which was released in the Indian market a few months ago.

POCO M5 4G: Specifications and Features
The display panel on the POCO M5 4G is said to be a 6.58-inch Full HD+ LCD. We can expect the smartphone to have a refresh rate of 90Hz, if not 120Hz. The device is expected to include an octa-core MediaTek Helio G99 processor and at least 6GB of RAM.

The POCO M5 4G is expected to come with a 5000mAh battery. According to reports, it will support at least 33W fast charging. In addition, POCO has been teasing a chic-leather-like rear panel for the smartphone on social media recently.
