Xiaomi 200W Charger on 3C
Xiaomi may finally launch first ever smartphone with 200W fast charging. The 3C website lists a Xiaomi 200W fast charger. The Xiaomi 200W charger has the model number MDY-13-EU, according to the certification website. The charging adapter has charging speeds of 15W, 27W, 66W, 170W, and 200W.
Last year, the charging technology was first demonstrated. According to the company, its 200W fast charging technology can charge a 4000 mAh battery from 0% to 100% in about eight minutes. To demonstrate its new technology, Xiaomi used a modified Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro with a 4,000mAh battery, which charged to 10% in 44 seconds, 50% in three minutes, and 100% in seven minutes, 57 seconds.
Of course, the charging test was carried out in a controlled environment with specific conditions in place. However, in practice, the technology should be able to charge a 4000 mAh battery in under or around 10 minutes.

It would not be surprising if the company soon launched a 200W fast charging phone. Especially now that iQOO has announced the official launch of the iQOO 10 Pro with 200W fast charging. Xiaomi's new fast-charging solution could be used to launch the Xiaomi 13 series. Alternatively, the upcoming Xiaomi 12i HyperCharge could include the new battery fast charging technology.
