Lenovo currently has some impressive gaming and non-gaming laptop lineups on the market. The Chinese manufacturer has, in fact, added a number of new models, including the IdeaPad Gaming 3i, Yoga 7i, Yoga 7i Pro, Lenovo Slim 7i, and Lenovo 5i and 5i Pro. These models were all introduced earlier on Tuesday in India using 12th generation Intel Core SoCs. Before you purchase these models, you should be aware of the following information.

Pricing and Availability

Lenovo has added a few models to its three main series, including Yoga and Legion. A Legion 5i, the first model in the Legion series, will be sold in Storm Gray and start at INR 1,44,990 in India. The cost of the Legion 5i Pro in the same colorway is INR 1,64,990. Last but not least, the Legion Slim 7i costs INR 1,50,990.

The Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3i is the next to join, with a starting price of INR 84,990 and a single Onyx Gray color option.

The Lenovo Yoga series is the third option, with the Yoga 7i starting at INR 1,14,990/- and the Yoga Slim 7i Pro at INR 1,06,990/-. Last but not least, the pricy Lenovo Yoga 9i costs INR 1,69,00. Slate Gray, Storm Gray, and Oatmeal are the three colorways that will be offered for the three.

When it comes to availability, the trio series will start taking pre-orders on July 13th through Lenovo Exclusive stores and Lenovo.com (online channel), while availability across other online and offline channels will start on July 23rd, which is Prime Day on Amazon India.

Lenovo Legion 5i, 5i Pro, and Slim 7i Specifications

The 12th-generation Intel Core i7-12700H SoC, which can reach a maximum frequency of up to 4.6GHz, powers the high-octane series of the Legion 5i, 5i Pro, and Slim 7i. The 5i and 5i Pro have an NVIDIA GeForce RTXTM 3060 GPU, while the Slim 7i has an NVIDIA GeForce RTXTM 3050 GPU. The 5i series has 6GB GDDR6 VRAM onboard, whereas the Slim 7i has 4GB GDDR6 RAM. The Legion 5i has 32GB DDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of M.2 SSD storage.

On the other hand, the Legion 5i Pro features a 16-inch WQXGA IPS panel with a 2560 x 1600 resolution, a 165Hz refresh rate, and a 100% sRGB color gamut. Its display has a maximum brightness of 500 nits and supports up to 32GB of dual-channel DDR5 RAM storage and up to 1TB of M.2 SSD storage. The same display setup and SSD storage are present in the Slim 7i. Up to 24GB of DDR5 RAM can be found onboard (8GB soldered and 16GB in SO-DIMM modules).

The trio of Yoga 7i, Slim 7i Pro, and Yoga 9i share some characteristics with the Yoga series. The 7i and Slim 7i Pro both have a 12th-generation Intel Core i7-1260P SoC clocked at up to 4.7GHz, while the 9i has a Core i7-1280P SoC clocked at up to 4.8GHz max with integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics. The Slim 7i Pro has 512GB of M.2 storage, the Yoga 7i has non-upgradable RAM storage, and the trio has 16GB of soldered LPDDR5 RAM with up to 1TB of M.2 SSD storage on both the Yoga 7i and 9i.

Speaking of display technology, both the Lenovo Yoga 7i and Slim 7i Pro have a 14-inch, 2.8K display with 400 nits of maximum brightness and a 90Hz refresh rate. However, the former has an OLED panel, while the latter has an IPS display. A 14-inch WQUXGA OLED panel with DCI-P3 color space is included with the Yoga 9i.

It comes with a 4.7GHz turbo-max 12th generation Intel Core i7-12650H panel, RTXTM 3050 graphics, 4GB GDDR6 VRAM, 512GB of M.2D SSD storage, and 16GB DDR4-3200 RAM. Among other things, it has a full-featured 15.6-inch FHD IPS panel with a 165Hz refresh rate and a maximum brightness of 300 nits.
