Tecno Phantom X will be Launched in India this Month: Everything We Know So Far

Tecno, a smartphone manufacturer based in Shenzhen, unveiled the Phantom X smartphone in June of last year. The device is the company's first premium smartphone with a 50MP rear camera and a 48MP front-facing camera.

According to a new report, the Phantom X will arrive in India in April 2022. (sometime later this month). Of course, the phone is late for the Indian market, but it could be the beginning of a new era for Tecno in India. Let's take a look at the Tecno Phantom X specs, features, and everything else we know so far.

Tecno’s Phantom X India Launch May Happen in April

The Tecno Phantom X will be available in two colour options, Summer Sunset and Starry Night Blue, according to a new report by PassionateGeekz. The phone is expected to be released later this month, with the same RAM and storage options as the global variant.

In India, the phone may be priced at Rs 25,000 for the only 8GB + 256GB option.

Tecno Phantom X Specifications

The Tecno Phantom X, which was launched globally, features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with an FHD+ pixel resolution, a 19:9 aspect ratio, and a refresh rate of 90Hz. Corning's Gorilla Glass 5 protects the display.

The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Mediatek Helio G95 SoC, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of internal storage. On the back, the smartphone has a triple-camera setup. A 50-megapixel primary sensor with a large 1/1.3" sensor, a 13MP telephoto lens, and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor are included. On the front, Tecno has included a 48MP + 8MP dual selfie camera module.

The phone is powered by a 4,700mAh battery, which can be charged at 33W fast charging speeds. According to the company, the phone can charge from 0% to 70% in under 30 minutes. The handset is kept cool by a vapour chamber cooling system attached to the chipset. The smartphone comes pre-installed with Android 11.

4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C are among the connectivity options. However, there is currently no word from the company on the Tecno Phantom X's availability in India. We anticipate that the company will release teasers on its social media accounts in the near future.
