OnePlus is preparing to launch a new smartphone in the Chinese market under the Ace lineup. The OnePlus Ace Racing Edition, the next handset in the Ace series, will be unveiled on May 17. We've discovered the OnePlus Ace Racing Edition on Geekbench ahead of its official launch. According to the benchmark listing, the Ace Racing Edition will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC.

OnePlus Ace Racing Edition Will Come Pre-loaded with Android 12!

The model number PGZ110 was found in the Geekbench 5 benchmark database for the upcoming Ace Racing Edition. In the single-core round of the Geekbench 5 tests, the handset scored 868 points. In the multi-core round, however, the score was 3505 points.

The Geekbench listing also shows an octa-core MediaTek processor with a 4 + 4 configuration and a peak frequency of 2.85GHz. Based on this, the upcoming OnePlus Ace series device appears to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 processor. According to the listing, the device will have a Mali G610 MC6 GPU and 12GB of RAM. The Ace Racing Edition will also come pre-loaded with Android 12.

OnePlus revealed the first look and renders of the upcoming OnePlus Ace Racing Edition earlier today. The upcoming Ace series device will be available in blue and grey colour options, according to the official listing on the OnePlus China website. The phone will have three cameras, including a 64MP primary shooter on the back.

The Ace series handset will include a fingerprint scanner on the side. It is said to have a 120Hz LCD panel, like the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite.
