HP India announced the launch of two new laptops in the Pavilion series earlier today: the HP Pavilion Plus 14 and the Pavilion x360 14. HP, India's largest laptop OEM by volume, claimed at the launch that the new Pavilion Plus 14 is the slimmest Pavilion laptop ever made. The new laptops include 12th generation Intel processors as well as a slew of other features.

The HP Pavilion Plus 14 starts at Rs 78,999 and comes with 12th generation Intel Core i5 processors, 16GB RAM, and 512GB SSD storage. The HP Pavilion x360 14 costs Rs 76,999 for a similar configuration. Both laptops are now available in India through all online and offline HP retailers.

Key Specifications
The HP Pavilion Plus 14 is the first laptop to feature 12th generation Intel Core H-series processors in Core i5 and Core i7 configurations. The laptop is the more powerful of the two, with a 45W throughput on the 12th generation Core i7 processor. This is supplemented by 16GB of DDR4 RAM and a 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD for storage. Both can be manually tuned for improved performance.
The Pavilion Plus 14 laptop's 14-inch display has a 2.2K resolution, a 16:10 aspect ratio, and 100 percent coverage of the sRGB color gamut. It also has Intel Iris X integrated graphics and is powered by a 51Wh battery. It also comes with a 90W USB-C charger and two USB-C ports, two USB-A ports, one HDMI 2.1 port, and one 3.5mm audio port.
The laptop has a thickness of 16.5mm and weighs 1.4kg.

Meanwhile, the HP Pavilion x360 14 offers 12th generation Intel Core i5 and i7 processors in the U trim, which stands for efficiency. The laptops are also equipped with the same RAM and storage options as the Pavilion Plus 14. Meanwhile, the 14-inch display has a full HD resolution and supports touch input. The port layout is also similar, but the laptop lacks a second USB-C port in favor of an AC adapter socket.
Other important features include a 43Wh battery and a 65W charger. It weighs 1.5kg and has a thickness of 19mm.
