POCO M5s Launched in India: Price, Specifications, and Other Details

POCO M5 has been launched in India as the company's new low-cost smartphone under Rs 15,000. The new POCO M5 features a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC and a 50MP triple-camera setup. The POCO M5 was also released in global markets alongside another smartphone, the M5s. POCO has not confirmed any details about the POCO M5s India launch. The phone is a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 10S, which was released last year.

POCO M5s Price and Specifications 

POCO has introduced the M5s as its new 4G smartphone in global markets. The phone was released worldwide with three storage options. The base model has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It costs €209. (roughly Rs 16,500).

The 4GB + 128GB variant costs EUR 229 (approximately Rs 18,100), while the 6GB + 128GB variant costs EUR 249. (roughly Rs 19,700). The phone is available in three different colours: blue, grey, and white.

The POCO M5s has a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 60Hz. The front camera has a centrally aligned hole-punch cutout.

A quad-camera setup is located on the back. The device has a 64MP main camera sensor with an aperture of f/1.8. In addition, there is an 8MP ultrawide camera and two 2MP sensors for macro photography and depth sensing. The M5s has a 13MP front camera for selfies.

The M5s is powered by a 5000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio G95 SoC. The phone also has an IP53 rating for resistance to water splashes. It has a 3.5mm headphone jack and a fingerprint scanner on the side. Finally, the device ships with MIUI 13 based on Android 12.
