Xiaomi 13 Series Launched: Price, Specifications, and Other Details

The Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro smartphones have finally been launched in China. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor powers the most recent flagship smartphones. The Xiaomi 12 Pro's successor features a 50MP triple-rear camera setup and supports 120W fast charging. The Xiaomi 13 has a flat-edged display panel. Xiaomi 13 Series: Price and Availability

Xiaomi 13 series smartphones will be sold in four configurations: 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 512 GB. The Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro are available for pre-order in China and will go on sale on December 14th. There is no word on the global availability of the Xiaomi 13 series. Xiaomi 13 Series: Specifications and Features

The Xiaomi 13 series smartphones have E6 AMOLED display panels with 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 1900 nits peak brightness, and Dolby Vision content compatibility. The standard model has a 6.36-inch display panel with a Full HD+ resolution. The Pro variant, on the other hand, comes with a 6.73-inch LTPO display with Quad HD+ resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, manufactured on a 4nm fabrication process, powers the Xiaomi 13 series handsets. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 includes an Adreno 740 GPU, up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The latest Xiaomi flagships ship with the company's proprietary MIUI 14 operating system. Xiaomi 13 series smartphones run MIUI 14, which is based on Android 13.

The Xiaomi 13 Pro has three rear cameras: a 50MP Sony IMX989 sensor with a 1-inch sensor size and OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens with a 115° field of view, and a 50MP telephoto camera with OIS support and 3.2x optical zoom. In comparison, the Xiaomi 13 has a 50MP Sony IMX800 sensor with OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens with a 120° field of view, and a 10MP telephoto camera with 3.2x optical zoom and OIS. For video calls and video calls, the latest Xiaomi flagships rely on 32MP front-facing cameras.

The Xiaomi 13 Pro is powered by a 4820mAh battery and supports 120W fast charging. The Xiaomi 13, on the other hand, has a 4500mAh battery and supports 67W fast charging. Xiaomi 13 series smartphones also support wireless charging at 50W and reverse wireless charging at 10W. These smartphones charge and transfer data via the Type-C port. The Xiaomi 13 series smartphones will be available in four colours: Ceramic Black, Ceramic White, Ceramic Green, and Mountain Blue. A Xiaomi 13 Limited Edition is also available in Flame Red, Sapphire Blue, Cement Gray, Hurricane Yellow, and Jungle Green. Xiaomi 13 series smartphones have stereo speaker setups and are IP68-rated.
