Vivo has launched its new flagship smartphone series in China. The Vivo X90 series has been launched in China. The Vivo X90 series is expected to be released in India and other markets within the next few months. The X90, X90 Pro, and X90 Pro+ 5G are the current models in the lineup. The camera hardware, among other things, remains the X90 series' unique selling point.

The top-of-the-line X90 Pro+ 5G features a 1-inch Sony sensor. The X90 and X90 Pro have a triple-camera setup on the back. Under the hood, the devices also include Dimensity and Snapdragon SoCs. Let's take a look at the Vivo X90 series price, specifications, and other details.

Vivo X90 Series Price and Specifications

The X90 series offers a variety of RAM and storage options. In its base model, the Vivo X90 has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The cost is CNY 3699. (roughly Rs 42,300). The device is also available in 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 512GB configurations, with prices starting at CNY 3999 (roughly Rs 45,700), CNY 4499 (roughly Rs 51,500), and CNY 4999, respectively (roughly Rs 57,200). It is available in three colours: black, blue, and red.

The X90 Pro 5G costs CNY 4999 (roughly Rs 57,200) for the base 8GB + 256GB storage option. It also has 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB storage options, which cost CNY 5499 (roughly Rs 63,000) and CNY 5999, respectively (roughly Rs 68,600). The device is available in two colours: black and red.

The top-tier X90 Pro+ 5G comes with storage options of 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512 GB. The variants are priced at CNY 6499 (roughly Rs 74,400) and CNY 6999, respectively (roughly Rs 80,100). It is available in two colours: red and black.

In terms of specifications, the X90 series has a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The X90 Pro+ 5G and X90 Pro have QHD+ displays, whereas the X90 5G has a 28001260 resolution screen. All three models have a hole-punch cutout in the top centre for the 32MP front camera.

In China, the devices also run the Android 13-based Origin OS 3 update. They have various processors and camera specifications. The phones include the new Vivo V2 custom ISP, which is said to improve low-light camera performance as well as portrait mode shots.

The X90 5G's camera hardware includes a 50MP Sony IMX866 main camera sensor. A 12MP ultrawide camera and a 12MP portrait lens with 2x optical zoom round out the triple-camera setup. Finally, the X90 Pro+ 5G will be at the top with a 50MP Sony IMX989 main camera sensor. A 48MP Sony IMX598 ultrawide sensor, a 50MP Sony IMX758 f/1.6 portrait sensor, and a 64MP OmniVision OV64B40 telephoto camera with an f/3.5 aperture and up to 100x digital zoom join the 1-inch primary camera sensor.

When it comes to performance, the X90 and X90 Pro 5G are powered by a Dimensity 9200 SoC. The X90 Pro+ 5G, on the other hand, is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.

The X90 5G comes with a 4,810mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging out of the box. The X90 Pro 5G, on the other hand, has a slightly larger 4870mAh battery. The phone supports 120W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

The battery unit in the Vivo X90 Pro+ 5G is the smallest of the three phones. It has a 4,700mAh battery and supports 80W wired and 50W wireless charging. The device is also quite heavy on paper, weighing 220 grammes and measuring 9.7mm thick.
