Ubisoft Confirms Avatar
Ubisoft recently released their latest earnings reports, confirming that the upcoming Avatar game will be released in 2022. Ubisoft has been working on Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora for quite some time, and it appears that players will be able to see more of the game soon and have it in their hands by the end of the year.

Skull and Bones, likewise, has been in development for nearly a decade, and after a series of cancellations, revivals, and changes in development – the game appears to be nearing completion. Massive Entertainment, the studio behind The Division, is working on Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.

Ubisoft has almost certainly confirmed that Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora will be released before the end of the publisher's fiscal year, which concludes on March 31, 2023.

If the Avatar game is on track to be released this year, it is surprising that Ubisoft has been so tight-lipped about it. Players haven't seen much gameplay or even a cinematic trailer describing the game's story and world.

So far, players have only seen a vague trailer and a promotional description of the game, neither of which reveals much. The Avatar franchise appeared to have been given new life, especially with the release of the new trailer for Cameron's magnum opus, Avatar: Way of the Water, later this year.

Skull and Bones, on the other hand, has received little promotion from Ubisoft, but a leak of gameplay footage earlier this month suggests that it could be a potentially interesting multiplayer project. Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, Ubisoft's other major project, is set to be released before March 31, 2023.
