The foldable smartphone Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 is expected to be released later this year. The Galaxy Z Flip 4 will be the successor to last year's Galaxy Flip 3. The company's fourth-generation clamshell foldable device is expected to include an under-display camera, and a recent leak revealed the battery capacity and charging speed of the upcoming Flip 4.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 Listed on Geekbench

The SM-F721U model number of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy device has been discovered on the Geekbench database. This model number refers to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 model sold in the United States.

According to the listing, the device will run on the Android 12 operating system, which is expected to be based on the OneUI 4 skin. The device will also include a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset with a clock speed of up to 3.19GHz. This is the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ SoC, which is set to launch in China this week.

The processor has four cores that run at 1.8GHz, three cores that run at 2.75GHz, and one core that runs at 3.19GHz. The Adreno 730 GPU will be paired with this chipset. The device has 8GB of RAM according to Geekbench. However, multiple RAM and storage options are also possible. The device received a single-core score of 1277 and a multi-core score of 3642.

According to previous leaks, the Galaxy Flip 4 will have a 3,700mAh battery, which is 400mAh larger than the battery capacity of the Z Flip 3. In terms of fast charging, the device is said to support 25W charging, which is an improvement over Flip 3's 15W charging.

In terms of release date, the Galaxy Flip 4 and Galaxy Fold 4 devices are expected to be available soon. Typically, Samsung announces these devices at the August Unpacked event, implying that their official launch may be a few months away.
