Samsung Galaxy Watch 5, Watch 5 Pro Design Revealed in New Renders Ahead of Unpacked Event on August 10

Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2022 event will take place on August 10. Samsung will unveil two new foldable smartphones at its new Unpacked event. These are the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and the Galaxy Z Flip 4 5G. Along with the foldable phones, Samsung is expected to release two new smartwatches in the Galaxy Watch 5 series. These include the Galaxy Watch 5 and the Watch 5 Pro.

Samsung has not officially announced the Watch 5 series' launch date. However, the rumor mill has been leaking some key details about the upcoming Samsung smartwatches. The most recent leak involves official images of the Galaxy Watch 5 series.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Series Design Images

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 series will be the company's new premium smartwatches to compete with Apple's upcoming Watch Series 8. The new Galaxy Watch 5 models will be circular in shape. The design is similar to the previous Watch 4 models.

The design renders, which also reveal the color options for the two smartwatches, have been uploaded by tipster EvLeaks and 91Mobiles. The Galaxy Watch 5 Pro will be available in two color options: grey titanium and black titanium. Samsung will release more colorful versions of the standard Watch 5. The Watch 5 40mm will be available in Pink Gold, Graphite, and Silver, while the 44mm will be available in Graphite, Silver, and Sapphire.

The new Galaxy smartwatches will include numerous health and fitness features, including a new temperature sensor for detecting fever. In addition, Samsung will introduce new ecosystem features in the Watch 5 series that will work in tandem with Galaxy smartphones and laptops.

The pricing of the upcoming Samsung smartwatches was also revealed in a report. The base 40mm Galaxy Watch 5 with Bluetooth connectivity will be priced at EUR 259.98 (approximately Rs 21,050), while the 44mm variant will be priced at EUR 286.90. (roughly Rs 23,240).
