Redmi K60 Series Smartphones and Specifications Leaked

The Redmi K60 series is expected to be launched in China soon. Multiple reports about the upcoming K60 series have surfaced in recent weeks. The Redmi K60 5G specifications were leaked a few weeks ago, indicating that the device will include a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, a 5,500mAh battery, 67W fast charging, and up to 12GB of RAM.

In a separate report, the Redmi K60 was said to have Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) support and MediaTek's flagship SoC. In the most recent set of rumors, popular tipster Kacper Skrzypek, who has a great track record with Xiaomi and Redmi phones in the past, has tweeted new information on the Redmi K60 series. Redmi K60 Series SoC and Model Details

According to Kacper, the company is preparing to launch at least three Redmi K60 series devices: the standard K60, the K60 Pro, and the K60E. The codenames of these devices have also been revealed by the tip. The Redmi K60 has the codename "Socrates," the K60 Pro has the codename "Mondrian," and the K60E has the codename "Rembrandt."

Xiaomi will release at least 3 devices in Redmi K60 series: K60, K60 Pro, and K60E. K60, codename socrates, uses Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. K60 Pro, mondrian, uses Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 (don't ask why), and K60E, rembrandt, will use MediaTek CPU (IDK which yet, maybe Dimensity 9200?)

The tipster also revealed the SoCs of the devices in addition to the codenames. The vanilla model of the K60 series is expected to have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, while the Pro model will have a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor and the K60E will have a MediaTek chipset, though the exact SoC has yet to be confirmed. According to previous leaks, it could be Dimensity 9200 or Dimensity 8200. Aside from this, the tipster did not reveal much, and there is no official launch date from the company.

Redmi K60 5G Specifications

The Redmi K60 is expected to be the least expensive device in the upcoming K series lineup. This device will compete with the upcoming OnePlus Ace 2, which may be launched in India as the OnePlus 11R, and the Realme GT Neo 5 5G. The Redmi K60 5G will have a 6.67-inch 2K resolution display. Under the hood, the phone is said to have a 5,500mAh battery. It will be capable of 67W fast charging as well as 30W wireless charging.

The phone will also have an in-display fingerprint scanner and up to 12GB of RAM. The phone's optics are said to include a 64MP main camera sensor with OIS. An 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro sensor will be included. The phone will have a 16MP front camera for selfies.
