Realme is preparing to launch the GT Neo 5 series. The company has confirmed that the world's fastest-charging smartphone will be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in 2023. The Realme GT Neo 5 series will support up to 240W fast charging. According to reports, the device will charge from 0% to 100% in nine minutes. The company has not confirmed the phone's official specifications. Meanwhile, a new report has revealed the GT Neo 5 series' specifications and features.

According to the rumours, Realme will release two smartphones in the GT Neo 5 series. The base model will support 150W fast charging, with the faster charging option supporting 240W. Let's take a look at some more Realme GT Neo 5 series details that have been revealed ahead of the launch.

Realme GT Neo 5 Series: Specifications and Features 

The Realme GT Neo 5 series will be available at the MWC in 2023. Some key details about the phones have leaked online ahead of their release. The Realme GT Neo 5 series will be available in two variants, according to a Weibo post (via). Both phones will be exactly the same. The main distinction between the two models will be the battery capacity and fast charging options.

One of the two variants will have a 4600mAh battery with 240W fast charging support. A 150W fast-charging variant with a 5000mAh battery will also be available. The two variants, model numbers RMX3706 and RMX3708, were recently discovered on TENAA and 3C certification websites.

Aside from that, the leaked information indicates that the phones will have a 6.74-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution of 2772 x 1240 pixels. The display will also have a 144Hz refresh rate and a 20.1:9 aspect ratio. Finally, 2160Hz PWM dimming will be supported.

On the back, the devices will have a triple-camera setup. A 50MP Sony IMX890 main camera sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro shooter will be included. A Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC will power the device. A 16MP front camera sensor will be available for selfies.

The TENAA listing also revealed the device's design. According to the images, the phone will have two large circular cutouts on the back. The upper cutout will have a single camera, whereas the lower cutout will have dual cameras. The LED flash module is positioned near the camera sensors.
