Realme Event on April 7 Roundup: Realme Book Prime, Realme 9 4G, Realme GT 2 Pro, Realme Buds Air 3, Realme Stick, and Everything Else We Know So Far

On April 7, Realme will hold a mega event in India, where it is expected to launch at least five new products. The brand confirmed the launch of the Realme GT 2 Pro flagship phone in India a few weeks ago. Later, every couple of days, a new product was confirmed to launch, and the total number of products reached five. The company is preparing to release two smartphones, a new laptop, a new TWS, and a new streaming stick.

The event's main attraction will be the flagship GT 2 Pro, which has been released in both China and the global market. Following that, the brand will unveil the Realme 9 4G, the sixth device in the Realme 9 series. Realme Book Prime will be released as the brand's second laptop. Along with these, the Realme Buds Air 3 TWS and Realme's new low-cost stick will be available in India. Realme April Event Launch Date, Event Time, and Location

The Realme April event will take place on April 7 at 12:30 PM IST. The event will be live-streamed on Realme India's YouTube channel, and the company's official social media channels will provide live updates.

Realme GT 2 Pro

The Realme GT 2 Pro will be the event's main attraction. The device has a 120Hz 6.7-inch 2K AMOLED LTPO display and is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. It has up to 12GB of RAM and is powered by a 5000mAh battery with 65W fast charging support. On the back, it has a triple-camera setup with a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor, a 50MP 150-degree ultrawide camera, and a 2MP microscope camera sensor. For selfies, there's a 32MP front-facing camera.

Expected Price: The Realme GT 2 Pro starts at Rs 63,000 globally, and we can expect it to cost around Rs 60,000 in India.

Realme Book Prime

While not a completely new laptop, the Realme Book Prime will be released in India as the brand's second laptop after the Realme Book Slim. The Realme Book Prime is powered by an 11th generation Intel Core i5-11320H processor (Willow Cove architecture) built on the 10nm SuperFin fabrication process (i5-1135G7 on Book Slim). It also has a 35W TDP and a 50% better cooling system, both of which are improvements over the Realme Book Slim. This time, the company is also bringing the 16GB RAM variant as well as a new Real Gree colour option to India.

Expected Price: Based on the pricing of the Realme Book Slim, the Realme Book Prime is expected to cost around Rs 65,000.

Realme 9 4G

The Realme 9 4G will be the series' sixth device and only the second 4G device. It will be powered by a Snapdragon 680 SoC with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The device will have a 90Hz AMOLED display and the world's first Samsung ISOCELL HM6 sensor, according to reports. The device will include a 108MP main sensor, a 120-degree wide-angle lens, and a 4cm macro lens. According to various leaks, the phone will have a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.

Expected Price: The Realme 9 4G will be priced under Rs 20,000. It is expected to cost around Rs 16,000 (approximately).

Realme Buds Air 3

The Realme Buds Air 3 were launched at the MWC 2022, and they feature a 10nm LCP dynamic bass boost driver and Bluetooth 5.2. They, too, offer active noise cancellation with up to 42bB noise cancellation, as do the Buds Air 2. In terms of battery life, these buds are rated to last up to 5.5 hours with ANC turned on and 22 hours overall with the included case. These buds can last up to 30 hours when ANC is turned off.

Expected Price: The Realme Buds Air 3 will cost less than Rs 4,000.

Realme Smart TV Stick

Following the launch of the impressive Realme Smart 4K Google TV Stick, the company will now release an affordable Realme Smart TV Stick with Full HD 60fps support. HDR10+ content is also supported by the HDMI streaming stick. Unlike the 4K device, the stick will run Android TV 11 and will support Google apps and services. Aside from that, there's 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, and a quad-core ARM Cortex-A35 SoC.

Expected Price: The Realme Smart TV Stick is expected to cost less than Rs 3,000, while the 4K model costs Rs 3,999.
