Poco F4 5G with 64MP OIS Camera to Launch on June 23: Specifications and Price to be Expected

Poco has been teasing the launch of the Poco F4 5G in India on Twitter for the past few days, and the company finally announced the smartphone's launch date today. The Poco F4 5G will be available in India on June 23rd, which is exactly one week away.

The device will make its global debut in India next week and will then be available in other markets. In India, the device will be available for purchase through Flipkart. The Snapdragon 870 SoC, up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage have all been confirmed by the company in recent days. Here is what we currently know about the device.

Poco F4 5G: Specifications

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset, which is an octa-core chipset built on a 7nm process and has a peak clock speed of 1.9GHz, will power the Poco F4 5G. The handset will include Liquidcool 2.0, a cooling system with a 3112 mm sq. vapour chamber and 7-layer graphite sheets to meet thermal requirements. Furthermore, the device is confirmed to have up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.

The Poco device will have flat sides and will be available in a variety of colors. The device's visuals will be enhanced by a Super AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 1,300nits. Finally, the company has confirmed that the F4 5G will have a 64MP main camera with OIS on the back.

While these are the specifications and features confirmed by the company, previous leaks indicate that the device will have a 120Hz 6.67-inch Super AMOLED display and a triple-camera setup on the back with a 64MP main camera, an 8MP wide-angle camera, and a 2MP macro sensor. The phone will have a 20MP front camera for selfies.

In addition, the Poco F4 5G is expected to include a 4500 mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. According to the geekbench listing, the phone will ship with Android 12 and a layer of MIUI 13 on top. In terms of pricing, the device is expected to cost between Rs 27,000 and Rs 23,999 in India, depending on the bank offer.
