Apple will hold a physical event on September 7 to announce the iPhone 14 series. And there are numerous rumors about the devices and features on the internet. According to one of these reports, Apple will replace the Mini with the Max this year. The phone would be called the iPhone 14 Max and would have a larger 6.7-inch display. However, a new leaked image from a Twitter user suggests that Apple will launch the new model as the iPhone 14 Plus rather than the Max.

A Twitter user named @Tommyboiiiiiii discovered an Apple clear case labeled "iPhone 14 Plus Clear Case with Magsafe." The user also discovered the name on another website that sells the same Plus model case. However, it is unclear whether the image of the case he shared is an official Apple case or not. However, based on previous reports, the upcoming iPhone model may include a Plus model. This is why.
A 9to5Mac Report Backs the iPhone 14 Plus Rumours
After the case image went viral, 9to5Mac claimed that the upcoming iPhone would be called the iPhone 14 Plus rather than the Max. According to the report from Apple's news portal, their sources are familiar with the matter and can confirm that Apple has chosen a Plus name for its next iPhone. Furthermore, according to the report, Apple has asked case makers not to use the name iPhone 14 Max because it will not be the actual name of the product. Based on this, we can speculate that the next iPhone will be dubbed the iPhone 14 Plus rather than the iPhone 14 Max.
