There have been multiple rumours concerning the Pixel 7a and Pixel Fold in recent weeks. The pricing and availability data for the Pixel 7a and Pixel Fold were released a few days ago by 9to5Google and Jon Prosser. In addition, according to a CNBC story, the Google Pixel Watch will be given away for free with the purchase of the Pixel Fold. In a recent development, Front Page Tech's Jon Prosser published the precise features, pricing, and availability details of the Google Pixel Fold ahead of its official introduction.

Google Pixel Fold Pricing, Specifications Revealed

Jon Prosser confirms that the Pixel Fold 256GB storage capacity would cost $1,799 (about Rs 1,47,500). The 512GB storage option, on the other hand, will cost $1919 (about Rs 1,57,400). The Pixel Fold 256GB will be available in Chalk and Obsidian colours, while the 512GB storage variant will only be available in Obsidian. Furthermore, Prosser believes that Google will include the Pixel Watch with the purchase of the Pixel Fold.

According to the specifications, the Pixel Fold's inner display would be 7.6-inch in size. It will have a 6:5 aspect ratio, a 2208 1840 pixel resolution, and a pixel density of 380 PPI. The device's interior display will be made of ultra-thin glass that is protected by plastic. The device's outside display, on the other hand, will be 5.8 inches in size with a 17:9 aspect ratio, 408 PPI pixel density, and a Full HD+ resolution. The device's display will both have a refresh rate of 120Hz.

The Pixel Fold, like the Pixel 7 series, will include a Google One VPN. According to Prosser, the handset will sport a 48MP primary camera with an f/1.7 aperture, OIS, and an 82-degree field of view. The 48MP sensor will be paired with a 10.8MP ultra-wide lens with a 121.1-degree field of view and an f/2.2 aperture. A 10.8MP telephoto lens with an f/3.05 aperture and 5x optical zoom with up to 20x digital zoom will also be included in the gadget. The rear-facing camera will allow 1080p video recording at up to 60 frames per second.

The handset's front-facing camera will be 9.5MP with an f/2.2 aperture and fixed focus. The inside selfie camera will be 8MP with an f/2.2 aperture. Prosser discloses that the gadget will have up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB/512GB of internal storage. The Tensor G2 chipset will power the smartphone. The smartphone will also have a Titan M2 security chip. The device will weigh roughly 283 grams.

According to Prosser, Google will release a teaser for the Pixel Fold on April 26th, and pre-orders for the smartphone will begin on May 10th via Google Store. The phone will be available for pre-order through various retailers on May 30th. Finally, the device will begin shipping on June 27th.
